Susan is a corporate affairs and business management professional with a breadth of experience across multiple countries and industries. She has spent many years in leadership roles as part of senior leadership teams, and specialising in strategic corporate affairs issues as well as developing communications, local content and government relations strategies. Susan has expertise in solving complex problems and engaging with stakeholders to develop a good result for every party.
Kris Young
Business Advisor - Kimberley
Kris Young has been a Kimberley local for over 25 years, and has over 20 years of experience in developing small businesses.
For the last five years, he has worked as a small business coach in Broome to provide individualised support across a range of industries, including tourism, hospitality, trades, and civil construction.
Kris works with business owners to start and grow revenue, assets and employment. He assists businesses to access funding opportunities through Indigenous Business Australia (IBA), government grants and funding, and trust grants.

Digital Advisor
Joseph’s diverse career spans healthcare, XR, interactive technology, and creative brand experience. Beginning in graphic design, he transitioned to running his own branding studio, working with international brands, and later held in-house strategic roles. Joseph employs a holistic approach, emphasising meaningful relationships and ethical technology use to help businesses to optimise their use of digital tools and succeed in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

As our Self-Employment Assistance Program Manager, Nicola delivers our Self-Employment Assistance training and oversees program administration. Nicola’s business knowledge and passion for small business owners provides for engaging lectures where she facilitates thought-provoking discussions. She is particularly skilled in marketing management and communications and has helped countless businesses reach their goals.
